The TEDxMarvila experience

Last Saturday, I had the privilege of speaking at the first ever TEDxMarvila, held at the beautiful Convento do Beato in Lisbon – an outstanding event dedicated to “The Art of Being Human” that brought together an amazing group of thinkers, creatives and visionaries.

Humanity is mostly about connection, and storytelling is an important part of who we are. The first edition of TEDxMarvila on March 1st brought together the best of both worlds, with so many incredible talks dedicated to the equally interesting theme “The Art of Being Human”. I spoke about the missing link in healthcare, namely, how to unlock human potential through the mouth-body connection, and the feedback was incredible. This was my second TEDx talk – the first was in London in 2017 – and I’m so grateful to have had this opportunity to share my vision.

And I’m equally grateful to have shared the stage with so many other great speakers. A special shout out to the entire team of volunteers at TEDxMarvila that made this day happen – inspiring, thought-provoking, people connecting.
