Portuguese dentist at Harvard University

Miguel Stanley - the only Portuguese dentist among the 32 most influential personalities in international dentistry - was invited by Harvard University to become a founding member of the Clinical Innovation Board of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM).

Miguel Stanley was invited by the Dean of Harvard University’s School of Dental Medicine, Professor William V. Giannobile, and was justified by the excellence of the Portuguese doctor’s practice, particularly in the area of innovation.

His latest oral health project uses AI to detect oral infections that may have an impact on the immune system, including cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, among others.
