FDI Young Dentists Forum 2024. Leadership in Dentistry – Mindset for success

Dentistry is a very complex and nuanced profession.

It can be incredibly rewarding when well-practiced and well-funded, but on the other hand highly stressful and even dangerous when basic requirements are not met. It’s not just about training and experience but also about having the right ecosystem set in place in the clinic, the right technologies, materials and protocols set in place that can allow the practitioner a safe space to deliver comprehensive and quality dental care. This lecture helps young and seasoned practitioners understand and hopefully avoid some of the simple mistakes that are many times overlooked when taking on a new patient. In order to achieve the highest standards of care but also to go home feeling happy and fulfilled require a specific mindset and careful practice management based on science and clinical evidence. With over 26 years of managing high performing dental clinics, I’m excited to share some insights into how you too can be a leader in dentistry.
