We assume the challenge just to see a happy smile!

About a year and a half ago, we had a 27 year old here at the White Clinic®, with quite a peculiar clinical case. This patient was really saddened by her smile and had already visited several Dentists in order to change her mouth configuration.

The truth is she had an extreme malocclusion, an open bite which didn’t allow her to close her mouth. Can you image the kind of discomfort and sadness she felt regarding her smile? Not only did our patient struggle to talk and eat, but also when asked to smile for photographs!

Almost every single dentist she went too told her she had to correct her problem, through maxillofacial orthognathic surgery. This surgery aims to restore a normal pattern to the patient’s face.

However, at the White Clinic®, our Orthodontist decided to assume the challenge to think differently. How? By applying a treatment with a conventional device.

The truth is that now the treatment is finished, our patient is ready to take the braces off and have the smile she always dreamt of. A smile that not only restores her aesthetic security to smile without fear, but also her quality of life in her daily activities: her way of communication and expressing herself, eating, and smiling, of course!

With her balance restored, our patient is happier and more confident than ever and we honestly do share her feelings of happiness and confidence, feelings we did help building up!

*The patients consented to have their pictures published to illustrate each clinical case.

The fact that it was created in Silicon Valley by people who had nothing to do with the dental industry, in seeking solutions that do not require complicated appliances in the mouth, is really an incredible story.
