Speaking at the SymposiumSzeged Conference was energising

WOW! That’s all I can say after delivering a brand new lecture this past weekend in Hungary, at the 15th edition of the SymposiumSzeged conference.

Dedicated to the theme “Perspectives in Perio-Implantology and Comprehensive Dentistry”, my ultimate goal was to motivate the dental community to question the way we, as practitioners, do even the most basic things. “Why are we doing it this way?”, and “What can be done to improve this even more?” – simple questions that can bring up sensational answers.

And that’s exactly why I am constantly asking these questions. Because you never know what thought processes or “aha moments” will derive from reflecting on them. Because I am passionate about understanding the causality of failure and stress in our profession. Because I am dedicated to helping my colleagues look for answers that can assist them in finding harmony and balance between their core values, their knowledge, their business and their ethics. Congruence between these is important. So is perspective. If we never challenge the status quo, we never evolve. And when we’re constantly evolving, we know the best is yet to come.

Thank you to the Hungarian Dental Association for the invitation and for hosting such a great event. The feedback was tremendous. Thank you for your kind words. You can’t imagine the energy this gives me to keep on pushing the boundaries to share as much as possible.

Hope to see you all soon!

The fact that it was created in Silicon Valley by people who had nothing to do with the dental industry, in seeking solutions that do not require complicated appliances in the mouth, is really an incredible story.
