Pioneering spirit and passion for advanced dentistry
Thinking ahead in dentistry is predicting problems and preparing to avoid them, many years before they happen. His webinars and articles are recognised worldwide for their innovation and contribution to the future of dentistry.
Dr. Miguel Stanley has dedicated 25 years to advanced dentistry and the undeniable connection between oral health and general health. With a license to practice in the UK and Dubai, he practices exclusively in Portugal, where he founded the White Clinic in 1999. A Leading Dental Center of the World, it has consistently evolved from a pioneering and advanced biological dental practice to a high-tech, comprehensive clinic with a 360º approach to health, wellbeing and longevity.
With training in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and functional occlusion, Dr. Miguel Stanley’s innovative approach to oral healthcare has successfully shifted the outdated paradigm that oral health and general health are separate and consistently advocates that when they are contemplated as one, optimal wellness is gained. His passion for teaching and the exciting manner in which he shares his experience and knowledge stands out on stage, where he has given over 200 keynote lectures in more than 50 countries, on topics such as advanced implantology, prosthodontics, complex oral surgery, aesthetics, dental avatars, practice management and ethics, as well as his very own “No Half Smiles” work philosophy. He is one of the first dentists to ever give a TEDx talk and the only to host a documentary on dentistry for National Geographic. He is also an adjunct professor at the prestigious UPenn, the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
Dr. Miguel Stanley is the co-founder of the Slow Dentistry Global Network, a non-profit organisation focused on improving patient experience and safety during a visit to the dentist, with members in over 60 countries. He is the Vice President of the Digital Dentistry Society, as well as a member of many international scientific and academic organisations, and has published several studies and articles over the years. Recognised as a pioneer in clinical implementation in many areas of advanced technology, he is a consultant and key opinion leader for leading companies in the industry. He is the co-founder of Missing Link, the world’s first AI powered communication tool that is bridging the gap between dentists, general practitioners and patients.
Passionate about technology, biological, integrative and functional dentistry and regenerative medicine, Dr. Stanley spends most of his days in the clinic working with his team, actively driving innovation in healthcare, introducing novel concepts and therapies in order to transform and improve the lives of his patients.
